Fox ESS RS485 USB Cable (Bare-Ended, Round Plug)

Get live data out of your Fox ESS inverter and into Home Assistant, ESPHome or your own software. Fox ESS hybrids use a round multi-pin Meter/CT/RS485 plug rather than an RJ45 socket, so this lead has bare, ferruled ends at the inverter side to go into that plug, and a USB RS485 adapter at the other.

• Should fit Fox ESS H1, H1-G2, AC and KH inverters: 485A to pin 4, 485B to pin 3
• Should fit Fox ESS H3/AC3: 485A to pin 1, 485B to pin 2 (the logger pair, not the meter pair)
• Leave the meter/CT pins as they are
• Set the inverter RS485 Device ID to 247
• USB RS485 end, no drivers needed on most Linux/Raspberry Pi setups
• No radio, no cloud, just a wire
